The selling price for Toyota cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in September was of Rs. 3.7 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 3.66 crores during October. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -58 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -51 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from Rs. 2.61 crores to Rs. 1.29 crores.

Price per registration year

The average price for Toyota has remained constant in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2021, the average price is Rs. 41.26 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 43.19 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 57.28 lakhs)in 2021. During the next two years (2022, 2023) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 21 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -6 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (Rs. 47.25 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2024, 2025) with a price of Rs. 44.48 lakhs.

Price per mileage

The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 78 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 1.09 crores). Next with a price of Rs. 39.6 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 45% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at Rs. 52.92 lakhs.

Price per fuel type

The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 48 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 1.09 crores) followed by "Hybrid" priced at Rs. 56.86 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 41 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of Rs. 56.86 lakhs.
