Toyota Corolla Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Corolla cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in September the average price was Rs. 99.67 lakhs. October went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till Rs. 1.41 crores. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 42 % from Rs. 1.2 crores to Rs. 1.71 crores. The average price has risen 12 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (Rs. 1.63 crores) during January and February.
The average price for Toyota Corolla has remained constant in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is Rs. 25.65 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 27.29 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 34.73 lakhs)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 33 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 39.52 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of Rs. 44.99 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Corolla cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 82 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 1.57 crores). Next with a price of Rs. 43.53 lakhs and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 42% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at Rs. 82.27 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Corolla cars points out to "Gas" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 91 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 1.57 crores) followed by "Hybrid" priced at Rs. 29.54 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 2 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of Rs. 49.58 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota Corolla cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 98 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 1.57 crores). These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of Rs. 8.24 lakhs. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 88 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
