Toyota Corolla Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Corolla cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in July the average price was Rs. 1.95 crores. August went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till Rs. 2.29 crores. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 18 % from Rs. 2.12 crores to Rs. 2.49 crores. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from Rs. 2.31 crores to Rs. 2.21 crores during November and December.
The average price for Toyota Corolla has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is Rs. 37.31 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 31.2 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 54.28 lakhs)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 74 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (Rs. 59.08 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of Rs. 53.41 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Corolla cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 2.28 crores). Next with a price of Rs. 65.34 lakhs and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 32% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at Rs. 1.17 crores.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Corolla cars points out to "Gas" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 94 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 2.28 crores) followed by "Hybrid" priced at Rs. 49.47 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 1 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of Rs. 81.95 lakhs.
