The retail prices for Toyota Ist cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is Rs. 14.4 lakhs increasing till Rs. 15.97 lakhs in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from Rs. 15.18 lakhs to Rs. 16.49 lakhs. In the last two, the price has gone through a -9 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from Rs. 15.84 lakhs to Rs. 14.38 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Toyota Ist has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2007, the average price is Rs. 13.63 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 (Rs. 11.55 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 17.7 lakhs)in 2007.
