Toyota Mark II Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Mark II cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of Rs. 34.87 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 34.3 lakhs during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from Rs. 34.59 lakhs to Rs. 34.59 lakhs. In the last two, the price has gone through a -14 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from Rs. 34.59 lakhs to Rs. 29.65 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Toyota Mark II has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2003, the average price was Rs. 22.89 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (Rs. 30.29 lakhs) and 2003 (Rs. 19.3 lakhs). During the next two years the average price(Rs. 23.36 lakhs) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -25 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (Rs. 18.64 lakhs) and the the last two years (2007, 2008) with a price of Rs. 13.92 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Mark II cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 68 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 25.23 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 18.09 lakhs and a mileage range of "more than 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 23% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at Rs. 18.74 lakhs.
