The selling prices for Mercedes Benz cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of Rs. 1.24 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 1.25 crores during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from Rs. 1.24 crores to Rs. 1.28 crores. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from Rs. 1.26 crores to Rs. 1.24 crores during February and March.

Price per registration year

The average price for Mercedes Benz has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2017, the average price is Rs. 53.99 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 19.7 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 78.94 lakhs)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 206 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 1.89 crores) and the the last two years that were studied (2020, 2021) with a price of Rs. 2.12 crores.

Price per mileage

The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 85 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 1.33 crores). Next with a price of Rs. 56.88 lakhs and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 31% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at Rs. 74.16 lakhs.

Price per fuel type

The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mercedes Benz cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 87 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 1.33 crores) followed by "Petrol" priced at Rs. 1.12 crores. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 24 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs Rs. 1.12 crores.
