Mercedes Benz C Class Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercedes Benz C Class cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In May the average price per vehicle is Rs. 77.63 lakhs. During June the price went trough a strong deflation till Rs. 33.72 lakhs. The following two months (July, August) the selling price went through a devaluation of -14 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (Rs. 56.53 lakhs) during September and October.
The average price for Mercedes Benz C Class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2013, the average price is Rs. 29.42 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 12.28 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 57.31 lakhs)in 2013. During the next two years (2016, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 263 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 1.14 crores) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of Rs. 1.21 crores.
The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz C Class cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 63 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 57.76 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 21.72 lakhs and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 56% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of Rs. 88.66 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mercedes Benz C Class cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 67 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 57.76 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at Rs. 57.53 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 0 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of Rs. 19.24 lakhs.
