Mitsubishi Lancer Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mitsubishi Lancer cars have increased during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is Rs. 21.53 lakhs increasing till Rs. 23.53 lakhs in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from Rs. 22.53 lakhs to Rs. 23.8 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from Rs. 23.16 lakhs to Rs. 24.3 lakhs during January and February.
The average price for Mitsubishi Lancer has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2007, the average price is Rs. 12.72 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 6.53 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 13.45 lakhs)in 2007. Cars belonging to the model aforementioned had a price deflation of -13 percent in the next two years (2008, 2009) compared to the previous two years. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 12.52 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2011, 2012) with a price of Rs. 13.93 lakhs.

They are 71 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 24.39 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 12.92 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 16% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "100,000 - 200,000" priced at Rs. 17.47 lakhs.

It´s price is 2 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of Rs. 7.06 lakhs.
