Lexus RX Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Lexus RX cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is Rs. 49.51 lakhs increasing till Rs. 56.28 lakhs in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from Rs. 52.89 lakhs to Rs. 58.96 lakhs. In the last two, the price has gone through a -5 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from Rs. 55.93 lakhs to Rs. 53.06 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Lexus RX has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2008, the average price is Rs. 44.46 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 (Rs. 31.92 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 57 lakhs)in 2008. During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 89 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 93.73 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2011, 2012) with a price of Rs. 1.03 crores.
The graph that displays the price for Lexus RX cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 8 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 73.2 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 93.5 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 28% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "100,000 - 200,000" and a price of Rs. 67.66 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Lexus RX cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 4 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 73.2 lakhs) followed by "Hybrid" priced at Rs. 72 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 2 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of Rs. 70.44 lakhs.
