Kia Forte Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia Forte cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in November was of Rs. 6.53 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 6.6 lakhs during December. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from Rs. 6.56 lakhs to Rs. 6.51 lakhs. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -17 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from Rs. 6.54 lakhs to Rs. 5.45 lakhs.
The average price for Kia Forte has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2000 and 2001, the average price was Rs. 5.08 lakhs. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2002, 2003), the average price went up 14 % moving from !PRECIO1! to Rs. 5.81 lakhs, During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 6.91 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2004, 2005) with a price of Rs. 8 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Forte cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 17 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 5.54 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 5.38 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 46% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "more than 200,000" and a price of Rs. 7 lakhs.

It is 3 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 5.54 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at Rs. 5.96 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 8 % higher than the average market price followed by "Gas" which costs Rs. 5.36 lakhs.
