Hyundai Santro Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Hyundai Santro cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in September was of Rs. 13.22 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 13.58 lakhs during October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from Rs. 13.4 lakhs to Rs. 14.62 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from Rs. 14.01 lakhs to Rs. 14.46 lakhs during January and February.
The average price for Hyundai Santro has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2000 and 2007, the average price is Rs. 7.94 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2000 (Rs. 4.81 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 9.42 lakhs)in 2007. During the next two years (2008, 2009) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 27 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 11.11 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2014, 2015) with a price of Rs. 12.14 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Hyundai Santro cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 49 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 14.36 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 7.65 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 6% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "100,000 - 200,000" priced at Rs. 11.53 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Hyundai Santro cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 63 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 14.36 lakhs) followed by "Gas" priced at Rs. 5.39 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 1 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gas" with a price of Rs. 5.39 lakhs.
