BMW 5 Series Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW 5 Series cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of Rs. 48.42 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 49.16 lakhs during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from Rs. 48.79 lakhs to Rs. 49.42 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from Rs. 49.1 lakhs to Rs. 48.73 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2004 and 2004, the average price was Rs. 51.33 lakhs. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -16 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 33 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 64.57 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2007, 2011) with a price of Rs. 85.84 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 5 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 70 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 50.34 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 48 lakhs and a mileage range of "more than 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "100,000 - 200,000". It is 6% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of Rs. 49.56 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 5 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 1 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 50.34 lakhs) followed by "Diesel" priced at Rs. 51.67 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 3 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs Rs. 49.71 lakhs.
