Mitsubishi Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mitsubishi cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in March was of Rs. 32.2 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 31.22 lakhs during April. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -15 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -18 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from Rs. 29.35 lakhs to Rs. 24.19 lakhs.
The average price for Mitsubishi has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2016, the average price was Rs. 12.37 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (Rs. 17.25 lakhs) and 2016 (Rs. 14.2 lakhs). During the next two years the average price(Rs. 12.62 lakhs) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (Rs. 11.47 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of Rs. 10.33 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Mitsubishi cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 64 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 25.8 lakhs). Next with a price of Rs. 10.13 lakhs and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "100,000 - 200,000". It is 29% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at Rs. 17.91 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mitsubishi cars points out to "Gas" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 85 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 25.8 lakhs) followed by "Hybrid" priced at Rs. 7.43 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 16 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of Rs. 18.04 lakhs.
