Honda Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Honda cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In April the average price per vehicle is Rs. 1.39 crores. During May the price went trough a strong deflation till Rs. 1.09 crores. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from Rs. 1.24 crores to Rs. 1.26 crores. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (Rs. 1.34 crores) during August and September.
The average price for Honda has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is Rs. 37.81 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 15.92 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 66.29 lakhs)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 95 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -8 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (Rs. 68.48 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of Rs. 63.26 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Honda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 64 % more affordable than the average price (Rs. 1.33 crores). Next with a price of Rs. 76.99 lakhs and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 34% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at Rs. 87.73 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Honda cars points out to "Gas" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 93 % less expensive than the average market price (Rs. 1.33 crores) followed by "Diesel" priced at Rs. 44.15 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 6 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of Rs. 85.84 lakhs.
