Daihatsu Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Daihatsu cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for April is Rs. 39.28 lakhs. During May there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till Rs. 34.56 lakhs. The following two months (June, July) the selling price went through a devaluation of -12 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 20 % with an average price of Rs. 34.75 lakhs during the previous 4 months and Rs. 41.67 lakhs during the most recent months in August and September.
The average price for Daihatsu has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is Rs. 10.11 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 5.39 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 19.12 lakhs)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 94 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -14 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (Rs. 17.23 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of Rs. 14.88 lakhs.
