Mitsubishi Lancer Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Mitsubishi Lancer cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of Rs. 23.53 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at Rs. 23.07 lakhs during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from Rs. 23.3 lakhs to Rs. 24.36 lakhs. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from Rs. 23.83 lakhs to Rs. 21.22 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Mitsubishi Lancer has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2005, the average price is Rs. 11.95 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (Rs. 6.09 lakhs) moving up till (Rs. 14.98 lakhs)in 2005. During the next two years (2006, 2007) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 37 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (Rs. 17.7 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2008, 2012) with a price of Rs. 18.99 lakhs.
